We spent two nights in Washington which were amazing, not only because of the city but also because of the company we had. Ann took couchsurfers for the first time and showed us how the people in the Southern part of the USA cook Jambalaya. The preparation of the meal was perfectly planned! Everything had its time and place which made the dinner even better in the end. Afterwards, Ann started making Dessert. I don't even know how to describe it but she used a lot of Butter, Sugar, and Milk. She mixed it all up and used some tricks her mom and grandma taught her. The result was astonishing. Then we spent a few hours talking about Ann's business (http://www.southernsocialmarketing.com), the south of the US (because we won't go there on THIS trip), and about pieces of wisdom from her grandmother:
"Alcohol is like a bosom. While one is not enough, three are sure too many."
It was a fun night and we are really happy and thankful that we could stay with you! :)
